Mandrels
GARNEAU'S MANDRELS ARE DESIGNED TO ENSURE INTEGRITY OF THE PIPE DURING BENDING OPERATIONS.
Our mandrels provide a smooth bend and eliminate any ovality. They are available as either hydraulic, pneumatic or diesel powered (diesel powered mandrels are custom made). All mandrels meet bending requirements for up to X80 grades of pipe, and are designed for pipe sizes 12" to 60" in diameter. No adjustment is required for different wall thicknesses. Travel wheels rise from pipe wall when the mandrel is expanded and the double angled hardened steel wedges provide fast approach and powerful locking action. Mandrels utilize the bending machine for hydraulic power or compressed air. All mandrel controls are located with the bending machine controls.
